Position: Hospital Waiter / Waitress
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Professional
meal service to patients, staff, and hospital organized events
- Correct order
takings of meals as per the patient and menu specifications
- Present menus
to patients and answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
upon request
- Correctly set
the trays before service of the meals ordered
- Collect, clear
and stack professionally dirty dishes on the food trolleys and
return them to the kitchen for washing
- Take &
serve special orders of meals as per the dietician specification
- Wash dishes and
clean work areas, tables ,cabinets ,fridges ,etc. and record /update the
daily check lists
- Collect and
place pantry garbage and trash in designated containers
- Do daily pantry
utensils stock take and record as per the stipulated shifts
- Hand over every
work left before the completion of each shift
- Maintain high
degree of hygiene in the pantries at all levels
- Adhere to high
standards professional hygiene at all levels as dictated by
- the HACCP
principles
Qualifications &
Requirements
- Certificate/
Diploma in Hotel Management/Food and Beverages Production preferably from
Utalii College or NYS
- Excellent
communication skills
- Minimum 1 year
of experience working in a similar position preferably in a Hospital
- Level 3 HACCP
qualification
- Food Handlers
Certificate
- Hepatitis B
Certificate
- Certificate of
Good Conduct.
