Position: System Analyst – CRM & Service Delivery
 
Region: Nairobi
 
Reporting to: Business Applications Team Leader

Department: Technology Division 
Role Purpose: The System Analyst – CRM & Service Delivery is responsible for performing professional level business systems analysis and project management activities which include planning, designing, implementing and maintaining CRM & Service Delivery Applications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

System Analysis / Programming

  • Responsible for system analysis, design, development, testing and system implementation
  • Collaborating in planning, design and deployment of any new business applications and enhancement to existing business applications.
  • Provide effective support to users on issues related to system
  • Identify any integration issues and resolve with vendors
  • Provide user training and application support service
  • Report generation for business users
Requirements & Planning Management
  • Understand and anticipate requirements from Business Units to fulfill their requirements and help them to meet their expectations
  • Breakdown the requirements into project & set up realistic planning
Integration management:
  • Functional design (flows, protocol, scheduling etc..) & Technical Architecture
  • Quality of service KPI definition (capacity, dimensioning, performance, statistics)
  • List of potential incidents/events and procedures
  • List of preventive maintenance tasks (purge, script running)
Academic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field or relevant work experience.
  • At least 2-6 years’ experience in a similar position.
Professional Qualifications
  • Programming (C#, Vb.Net, PHP)
  • Unix & Microsoft OS
  • SQL & Scripting  in Oracle/MySQL/MS SQL data base

Role Purpose: The System Analyst – ERP is responsible for working with end users to shape existing and develop new business processes with the focus on
improving business performance for the future with regards to the ERP applications.

His/Her role will involve implementation of ERP software solutions – version and functional upgrades and  also  performing professional level business systems analysis and project management activities which include planning, designing, implementing and maintaining of the ERP applications

Position: IT Security Expert
 
Region: Nairobi
 
Reporting to: Senior Manager Technology Security
 
Range: R3
 
Department: Technology Division

Role Purpose: The IT Security Expert will provide direction related to governance functions such as risk management, IT, and Compliance throughout the organization as necessary, advice on information security matters such as routine security activities plus emerging security risks and control technologies.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Operational
  • Involved in the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System.
  • Performing security maintenance, including but not limited to managing logging infrastructure and managing email SPAM filtering appliances.
  • Carry out security assessments on upcoming IT and Application Development projects to ensure a reasonable level of risk mitigation between go live and the vulnerability assessment dates.
  • Act as a security representative to the various projects; provide information security oversight and advice on RFPs and RFIs.
  • Design and implement information security policies, processes, procedures and minimum baseline standards for configuration of various systems.
  • Collaborating with IT on disaster recovery planning, testing and maintenance.
  • Design, implement and administer system access control processes.
  • Execute project management roles in the integration of security solutions.
  • Performing network and web applications security vulnerability checks and penetration testing.
  • Perform system security assessments and evaluation of the uncovered vulnerabilities to determine how to manage the risk.
Academic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or relevant work experience.
  • Four years’ experience in IT Security
  • At least 2-6 years’ experience in a similar position.
