Security Guard Supervisor Job in Nairobi Kenya

Emerald Security Services Limited aims at bridging the gaps within private security industry. Security is the key element to every business enterprise whether upcoming or existing, middle or large. 

As a result of increased business portfolio, we are recruiting a Security Guard Supervisor to handle operations within Nairobi and its environs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily and periodic reports to the operations manager.
  • Monitoring of Guards during their shifts
  • Planning, scheduling, and directing work to security guards
  • Conduct routine patrols in all stations
  • Take predetermined action and renders first aid in emergencies such as accident, fire and illness.
  • Assist in development of security policy and procedures.
  • Communicate with clients about security needs and challenges.
  • Maintain and recommend changes or improvements in the processes and operations.
  • Orders, maintains and issues uniform and equipment to guards.
  • Keep inventory of all company equipment.
  • Respond to alarms and distress calls
  • Assist in recruitment and training of security guards.
  • Recommending security guards for promotion, retention, discipline or termination.
  • Train and enforce safety regulations at the work site.
  • Sourcing for new businesses.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Background training with the disciplined forces.
  • At least two years supervisory experience in a similar environment.
  • Right attitude to work
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili with good drafting skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and constructive working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Able to work long hours with minimal supervision
  • Business development skills will be an added advantage
