About
the job: The
county director has overall responsibility for KGN operations in Kenya and is
responsible for consolidating and at the same time developing the programs,
continuing the process of developing solid impact measurement mechanisms,
strengthening accountability initiatives and ensuring that the financial
management and organizational setup is adapted to the operational context.
Key
Responsibilities
- Direct
managerial oversight and support

development and strategy setup

- Representation:
for the program to authorities, donors, partners, and in various sector
- Fundraising
and Advocacy: attract a fund of private sector and government (ODA)
Qualifications
- A
Bachelor’s/ Masters’ degree in international relations, social science or
related field or equivalent.
- 10
years of relevant work experience that combines technical and managerial
leadership in development cooperation at the international level.
- Relevant
professional experience in any international NGO is an asset.
- Hands
on experience in managing staff in insecure locations and strong human
resource management skills in general.
- Experience
of managing budgets and multiple donor contracts.
- Experience
of planning and managing ODA program is strongly required.
- Experience
in donor contact, fundraising and networking.
- Fluency
in spoken and written English required; Korean language skills preferred.
Education
Specialist - Teacher’s Training
of Trainers (ToT)

the job: Under
the guidance and general supervision of the Country Director, the Specialist
supports the development and preparation of the Education program and is
responsible for planning, managing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and
reporting of progress of education programs within the country program.
The Education Specialist will provide strategic and technical leadership in this process.
She/he
will assume the overall responsibility for the growth and development of the
education portfolio, including training for staff implementing in the field and
operations research to test new approaches or the application of approaches in
delivery of quality education and teacher empowerment.

Qualifications
- A
Masters’ degree in education, economics, social science or related field

experience in any international NGO is an asset.
- Experience
of planning and managing Teacher’s Training of Trainers (ToT] program is
strongly required.
- Experience
in networking and co-operation with government in a developing country
preferred.
- Fluency
in spoken and written English required; Korean language skills preferred.
