Finance
and Administration Manager
This
is a senior management role in a medium sized company, hence strategic in the
growth of the company.
The
position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Role Definition: The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager.

S/he
will develop and lead an internal team to support the following areas: finance,
business planning and budgeting, human resources, administration, and IT.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring
effective financial accounting and reporting
- Financial
budgeting and forecasting
- Overseeing
the HR function of the company
- Developing
the human resources capacity by enhancing professional development,
compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, training and
recruitment
- Overseeing
administration, logistics and IT
Role
Requirements
- A
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or
equivalent.
- Qualified
accountant with CPA (K) or ACCA.
- A
diploma in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
- Over
five years of post-qualification experience in financial management with
at least 3 years in a senior position at a reputable organisation with a
minimum annual turnover of $ 1.5 million.
- Great
communication skills
- Ability
to think independently and innovatively to solve problems
- Working
knowledge of the Agricultural sector is desirable.
- Competence
in IT
