Title: Assistant Manager

Immediate
Supervisor: General
Manager – Finance & Strategy
Overall
Responsibility: The
position is responsible for project management by coordinating and driving the
planning, staffing, implementation, monitoring, controlling and evaluating the
progress of companywide projects and measuring outputs.
- Define
the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
- Create
a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed
to successfully complete the project
- Determine
the resources required to complete the project
- Develop
a schedule of project completion
- Review
the project schedule with senior management and revise the schedule as
required
- Determine
the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated on
completion
- Manage
project staff
- Contract
qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate
- Execute
the project according to the project plan
- Monitor
the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary
- Review
the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis
to ensure it meets the standards
- Write
reports on the project for management
- Ensure
the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required
level of quality
- Evaluate
the outcomes of the project
- Any
other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Information Technology or Business Related Field
- Master’s
Degree in Project Management will be an added advantage Knowledge in
database management; prior working experience with Oracle Database
- 5
Years’ experience in Project Management;
- 1-2
Years in a management level
