Administrator Job in Kenya

Kenya Institute of Supplies Management is in the process of transforming, re-establishing and re-branding the KISM school program to operate as an Independent institution and wishes to recruit a 

School Administrator
 
Job purpose: Serves as administrator and primary liaison for the school program
 
Responsibilities

  • Liaises with examining bodies as appropriate
  • Coordinates teaching faculty on planning and delivery of programs, manages the school calendar, monitors and reports on performance
  • Oversees recruitment, registration, and orientation of students
  • Ensures students comply with institutional requirements, maintains student records, monitors and reports on performance
  • Coordinates career guidance and support to students
  • Facilitates development of annual work-plans and budgets, monitors and tracks implementation of work-plans and budgets
  • Ensures compliance with education sector regulations and applicable statutory requirements
  • Communicates with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinates marketing and promotion of programs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration / Management / Education
  • Relevant professional certification
  • 5 years experience in administration, education, project or program coordination, institutional management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of internal and external customers in a professional manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Practical knowledge of document, data management and presentation software
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to work with and lead teams
