Equipment Administrative Assistant
 
The Incumbent will report to the Plant Manager and will serve as the administrative assistant for the department. 

This position is responsible for assisting in the management of company’s equipment and maintenance operations. 

Assisting in schedules and prioritizes equipment repairs and maintenance as well as assigning and tracking equipment to crews and projects. 


Job Profile
  • Maintenance functions for the maintenance shop.
  • Oversees maintenance and repair of equipment, both in the shop and at the project sites.
  • Ensures that all equipment is completely inspected at least once a year and is calibrated based on the manufacturer’s recommendations or government standard.
  • Ensures the maintenance shop is properly maintained, functional and clean.
  • Supports on the job projects including identifying all sources of equipment maintenance, fueling, repair and spare parts
  • Follow up on stock status (spare parts, lubricants, fuel, tools) etc
  • Consolidates plant division accounting items (procurement, invoices etc) through creation of databases
Person Profile
  • Diploma in a relevant filed
  • Technical skills in heavy equipment, vehicle maintenance and repair
  • 2 -3 years’ experience working in a similar administrative role in a plant or construction site
  • Working knowledge of MS office packages
  • Organized, rigorous and attentive to details
