House Keeping Supervisor – Three Star Hotel
Introduction: Our Client is a
well-established and recently refurbished three star hotels seeks to recruit a House
Keeping Supervisor reporting
to the General Manager.
Specific
duties will include;
- Allocate
and coordinate duties of cleaning staff
- Ensure
adequate manning in all sections.
- Address
complaints regarding Housekeeping Services and Equipment and take
corrective action.
- Manage
stocks of housekeeping sundries to ensure adequate supplies as well as
efficient use.
- Assist
in conducting orientation training and In-service Training to New Staff
and Trainees including explanation of policies, work procedures as well as
demonstrate use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment
- Review
daily inventory of rooms, arrivals and departures
- Perform
quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits.
- Comply
with all resort safety guidelines. Pick up litter around lodge or whatever
visible.
- Report
all maintenance issues as per set procedures and follow through to
completion.
- Ensure
proper hand over of shifts is done and records of the same maintained
Qualifications
- Minimum
Diploma in Housekeeping from a recognized institution.
- At
least 4 years’ experience in housekeeping 2 of which were as a
housekeeping supervisor in a 4 to 5 star environment
Remuneration
A gross salary of between 40,000 and 60,000 dependant on qualifications and experience
