Our
client, a leading Importer and Distributor of Supplements based in Nairobi,
Kenya is looking to recruit a Retail Shop Attendant.
The
ideal candidate MUST have above 2 years experience in retail sales where they
will be required to carry out sales activities, so as to maintain and develop
sales as well as serve customers, make recommendations, help, and advice, direct
and deal with enquiries.
Key Responsibilities;

- Welcoming
customers in a warm, confident and open manner to encourage them to ask
for assistance.
- Directing
shopper/consumer to 'right fit' product per their requested needs.
- Ensuring
shopper is well supported till he/she checks out at the till.
- Responsible
for timely product item ordering, correct display arrangement &
replenishment cycle.
- Ensure
ample stock for fast moving items, while taking steps to clear out slow
moving product items.
- Aggressively
identifying out of stock items, placing orders with back office.
- Responsible
for ensuring special offers/discounts are suggested.
- Responsible
for reporting, sharing insights on ways to promote dead or slow moving
item stock.
- Responsible
for shelf product security, information & pricing - tags, special
offers, POSM, labels etc.
- Responsible
for cleanliness and space management for designated section/categories.
- Noting
down current, new customer requests, insights and sharing the feedback for
action as required.
- Ensuring
section is well attended to with reliever/other when initiating the leave
request with the manager.
Qualifications;
- Must
have a Diploma/degree in sales and marketing or related field.
- Must
have above 2 years experience in the retail sector.
- Multinational
experience would be an added advantage.
- Must
be 23 years and above.
- Must
have good interpersonal skills.
- Must
be self motivated.
- Excellent
computer skills.
- Excellent
communication and negotiating skills.
- Have
an interest in health food and supplements.
Monthly
gross salary: Ksh.
20,000 - 25,000/= (Approx. 200 – 250 USD) depending on experience
