Finance Manager Job in Kenya (150K)

Job Title: Manufacturing Finance Manager
 
Salary: 150K
 
Our Client is a fast growing Dairy Processing plant. 

They are looking to hire a Finance manager who will assume overall responsibility of financial reporting of the plant including budgeting, monthly forecasting, capital spend analysis and all financial activities. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Developing and managing relations with other stakeholders among them banks and auditors (Internal and External)
  • Ensure that periodic financial reports are prepared and presented on time and in the appropriate manner taking into consideration the legal requirements.
  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Make Budgetary and Financial forecasts accurately and communicate the same to the General Manager and/or the Board of Directors as and when required.
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
  • Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
  • Monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate
  • Undertake any other tasks as may be prescribed from time to time by management
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • CPA K holder
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar capacity 3 of which MUST be in a manufacturing Set up.
  • Mature and Business Oriented ( Above 35 Years Old)
  • Working knowledge of various facets of finance functions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of various facets of finance functions
  • Posses high sense of integrity and confidentiality
