The ICRC Logistic Centre in Nairobi (Industrial Area) is seeking an experienced & highly motivated individual to fill the position of a Receiving Clerk.

Responsibilities:
  • Physically receive and confirm quantity of all items delivered to the relief warehouse and supplier locations;
  • Post the purchase orders into the JDE system, print receiving slips and Bin cards;
  • Receive into the JDE system items received physically at the Mombasa warehouse;
  • Receive items under supplier locations correctly entering Batch numbers, expiry dates, transit status and locations;
  • Ensure all received lots by purchase order have the bin cards updated with all inventory transactions attached to them.
  • Ensure all items are stored in the right warehouse locations to ease the packing and dispatch process;
  • Liaise closely with the Quality control and avail samples for quality checks;
  • File all relevant documents relating to stock receipt & transfers, purchase orders receiving slips and inventory transfers;
  • Participates in all Inventory Counts and reconciliation under relief warehouse;
Minimum Requirements:
  • Certificate in stores management or its equivalent;
  • At least 2 years relevant experience in a similar field ;
  • Purchasing and supplies experience is an asset;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Excellent Computer skills;

The ICRC Logistics Support Centre in Mombasa is seeking an experienced & highly motivated individual to fill the position of Truck Driver within its Mombasa office.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive different types of light and heavy ICRC vehicles including forklift by strictly following internal rules and regulations and national traffic rules;
  • Transport goods within Mombasa town from Warehouses to Port;
  • Go on field trips from Mombasa to Nairobi, other coastal regions and outside Kenya on request;
  • Oversee the loading and offloading of goods when necessary and ensure they correspond with proper documentation;
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum KCSE or its equivalent plus a trade certificate or ‘O’ level;
  • Heavy commercial vehicle driving license all categories including forklift  for at least 5 years with certification of driving a trailer;
  • Knowledge of Mombasa Port operations is MANDATORY
  • At least 3-5 years experience as a truck driver with good references;
  • Certificate of good conduct;
  • Basic mechanical skills would be an added advantage;
  • Able to write and speak fluent English;
  • Preferably candidates from the coastal region.
