Job Title: 
Area Sales Manager
 
Reports to: National Sales Manager
 
Region: Mombasa (1 post) and Nairobi (1 post)
 
The incumbent will be responsible for managing a territory and provide market driven differentiated services within clearly identified channels that delivers sustainable growth in brand equity, volume and market share, competitive advantage and corporate reputation.
 
Key objectives
  • Conduct market potential study- collated and analyzed by territory
  • Analyze customer service levels and In-trade execution
  • Ensure assets by outlet are determined and recorded
  • Ensure Reps resourcing exercise are conducted and territories are allocated.
  • Align Quarterly / Monthly Sales Plan to Marketing / Channel Strategy
  • Determine volume and market share gaps and trends and prioritize opportunities.
  • Coach and mentor sales reps
  • Determine promotions strategies and implementation
  • Liaise and partner with 3rd parties stakeholders.
  • Consolidate competitor activities and track market changes.
  • Conduct customer negotiations and ensure win win relationship
  • Ensure budget are set and aligned to channel requirements and monitor costs.
  • Identify essential capital investments (CAPIN)
  • Scrutinize monthly financial results and investigate variances to budget/PF
  • Ensure Information systems are fully utilized
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 5 years Sales & Marketing experience in the FMCG Industry
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
Job Title: Modern Trade Representative
 
Reports to: Area Sales Manager
 
Region: Mt. Kenya, Nairobi, Western and Mombasa
 
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring maximization of sales in their assigned region and after sale services for their accounts/customers.

Key objectives
  • Achieve budgeted monthly sales Target
  • Developing and executing account plans for outlets within the modern Trade.
  • Maximum utilization of assets - coolers and dispensers.
  • Manage Product performance in the market through FIFO.
  • Ensure Retail Excellence Performance in your region.
  • Ensure accounts are well services/managed and customers are satisfied.
  • Handle all queries pertaining to quality issues and any other complaints that may arise.
  • Manage and ensure smooth relationship with distributors.
  • Achieve visibility in and outside of outlets.
  • Developing and executing account plans for outlets within the modern Trade.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 3 years Sales & Marketing experience in the FMCG Industry

Job Title: Local Area Representative
 
Reports to: Area Sales Manager
 
Region: Mt. Kenya, Nairobi, Western and Mombasa
 
The incumbent will be support the company strategy, by achieving the company goals, adopting the Sales Way through proper usage of sales monitoring tools, defending and growing market share and protecting our brands, while assuring compliance with best practices.

Key objectives
  • Identify stock deviations and report to sales rep
  • Optimize product availability and ensure that sales are made observing the FIFO principle
  • Check labeling, pallets and general cleaning of the storekeeper
  • Identify storekeeper´s needs (training, branding material etc).
  • Identify and suggest introduction of new brands of CBL portfolio to achieve sales and market share target
  • Suggest and Coordinate activities or activations for brand visibility
  • Check portfolio availability, verify price compliance and check stock and deviations
  • Ensure that the cooler agreement usage is being observed and influence clients pre-order
  • Identify and report the actions taken by the competition to better plan and act on the market
  • Enlarge CBL opportunities by identifying inactive or lost clients
  • Identify new potential customers
  • Confirm Orders and Sales on a daily basis
  • To complete the Outlet record book
Minimum Job Requirements
  • K.C.S.E or relevant education in business management or commercial qualifications.
  • 2 years as sales promoter or equivalent in sales area.
Job Title: Sales Interns
 
Reports to: Area Sales Manager
 
Region: Mt. Kenya, Nairobi, Western and Mombasa

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring maximization of sales in their assigned region and after sale services assigned by their supervisor.

Key objectives
  • Ensure Retail Excellence Performance in your region.
  • Ensure accounts are well services/managed and customers are satisfied.
  • Handle all queries pertaining to quality issues and any other complaints that may arise.
  • Maximum utilization of assets - coolers and dispensers.
  • Manage Product performance in the market through FIFO.
  • Manage and ensure smooth relationship with distributors.
  • Achieve visibility in and outside of outlets.
  • Developing and executing account plans for outlets within the modern trade.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing / BA or related field. Preference on final year student.
  • Experience in sales, beverage industry/FMCG will be an added advantage.
  • A valid driving license with at least 3 years continuous driving experience and a clean driving record.
Job Title: Route to Market Specialist
 
Reports to: Route to Market Manager
 
Region: Western (1 post)
 
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing our distribution system, supporting the sales team by ensuring availability of our products to our trade and consumers.
 
Key objectives
  • Be able to conduct surveys where appropriate and necessary to determine real outlet universe.
  • Use suitable extrapolation techniques to estimate outlet universe outside geographies subjected to EDS as well as estimated consumer intensities.
  • Use other sources of information as necessary to inform our view of the outlet universe and consumer intensities.
  • Work closely with S&D Team and other approved systems to develop optimal sales and distribution mapping.
  • Work closely with finance colleagues to assess financial aspects of RTM mappings and determine measured approaches
  • Work closely with distribution & procurement with regards to 3rd party transport tendering process to ensure alignment with RTM objectives.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing / BA or related field
  • At least 4 years of marketing and sales
  • Experience with an FMCG consumer or experiential marketing would be advantageous
