Our client,
a Safaris Company based in Karen is seeking to recruit a Book Keeper.
The
preferred candidate MUST have prior experience as a book keeper.
He/She
will be assisting the accountant in managing the accounting function and
preparation of timely and accurate financial reports for the group companies.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain
the sales ledger of the group companies.
- Maintain
the cash books of the group companies.
- Maintain
the purchases ledger of the group companies.
- Manage
petty cash funds and transactions.
- Assist
in the preparation of financial reports and ensure safe custody of
financial information.
- Ensure
compliance with the applicable accounting policies.
- Work
closely with the accountant to ensure smooth running of the finance
department.
- Render
quality customer care to clients, suppliers, visitors and staff in a
timely manner.
- Perform
any other related duties as assigned by the accountant.
Qualifications;
- CPA
Part II.
- Microsoft
office packages proficiency.
- At
least 2 years of relevant experiences in a similar position in a
comparable organisation.
- Use
of Quick Books accounting software is a MUST.
- High
level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proven
team player with good inter-personal skills.
- Demonstrated
ability to build work relationships and networks.
- Possess
strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Attention
to detail.
Monthly
gross salary: Ksh.
25,000 - 30,000/= (Approx. 250 - 300 USD) depending on experience
