Credit Control Supervisor

Ref: HRD/CCS/02/16
 
Reporting to the Credit Controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Providing leadership to the assigned staff in setting and meeting agreed objectives, performances targets and service delivery standards.
  • Ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances and reporting on debtors’ status.
  • Conducting credit analysis and rating of third party partners.
  • Enabling proper management of cash accounts and credit limits.
  • Validating partner statements.
  • Reviewing and maintaining the credit scoring model.
  • Managing patient credit files.
  • Reviewing staff credit recommendations and taking appropriate action.
  • Fostering good relationships with third party partners.
  • Monitoring and taking appropriate action on daily postings and allocation of receipts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Degree in any business related discipline.
  • CPA (K) or ACCA.
  • Certificate in Credit
  • Working knowledge of accounting packages, ERPs and databases.
  • Seven (7) years relevant experience three (3) of which should be in supervisory role.
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.

Technical Manager

Ref: HRD/TFM/02/16
 
This is a competitive 2 year fixed term renewable contract reporting to the Head, Support Services. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Ensuring quality and cost effective execution of defined construction and refurbishment.
  • Providing effective linkage and interfaces between the Hospital and project consultants and contractors on project phases including start-up, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning.
  • Tracking projects against schedules, budgets and phase gate review objectives.
  • Developing and implementing recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated occurrences.
  • Reviewing works and documentation for compliance with statutory and Hospital standards.
  • Day-to-day monitoring and evaluation of project activities as guided by project work plan and recommending adjustments as necessary.
  • Identifying project scope changes and ensuring job change notices are submitted and approved before implementation.
  • Ensuring health, safety and environmental requirements are met by contractors.
  • Facilities management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Architecture, Quantity Survey, Construction Engineering, Land Economics or, Building Economics.
  • Diploma in Project Management
  • Up to date registration with respective professional body.
  • Seven (7) years experience, three (3) which should have been in a supervisory position.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple and/or complex projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Results oriented
  • Effective problem-solving skills.

Lecturer – Peri-operative Nursing

Reporting to the Deputy Principal, School of Nursing, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Teaching, guiding and counselling students.
  • Organizing lesson plans and teaching resources for learning programmes.
  • Supervising students in both the classroom and clinical setup.
  • Participating in curriculum development and review for both Basic and Post Basic courses.
  • Setting, moderating, administering and marking examinations.
  • Participating in assessment of students in the clinical areas.
  • Maintaining proper students’ records throughout training.
  • Participating in the development and review of procedures, policies and standards.
  • Organising and participating in the students’ welfare events.
  • Providing guidance and counseling to students
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • KRN/KRM, KRCHN, Diploma in Advanced Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Higher Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing
  • Valid practice license
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a Peri-operative unit
  • Two (2) years’ experience in classroom or clinical teaching

Lecturer – Critical Care Nursing
