Inventory Coordinator Job in Nairobi Kenya (Urgent)

Position: Inventory Coordinator
 
Reporting to: Stock Controller
 
Department: Sales Planning
 
Location: Nairobi

Position Overview: Responsible for managing all inventory related activities while providing administrative support for the Marketing & Sales Planning function.

Key Responsibilities
  •  Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stockholding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy
  •  Implement improvement processes (Kaizen) and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs and maximize working capital
  •  Creation of vehicles into TALO as per the confirmed orders
  • Allocation of all vehicle orders received from the respective sales sections
  •  Adhere to Order Allocation lead times and stated policies and procedures (SOP) in support of the supply chain
  •  Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system – TALO & SAP
  • Respond to queries from the sales teams and advice on stock availability
  •  Customer handling and communication – Internal customers
  •  Daily sales and order intake reporting
  •  Weekly sales targets consolidation and tracking
  •  Weekly and Monthly ageing reports
  •  Monthly stock reconciliation
  • AVA Built Liaison
  •  Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved
  • Receiving and acknowledging sales orders, change requests and cancellations
  •  Issuing duty payment instructions to logistics team
  •  Issuance of consignment Stock to branches
  • Manage and organize for display units across the branches
  •  Monthly stock take coordination
Education & Experience:
  • Degree in Purchasing and supplies or any business related field
  • 3-5 years working experience in a busy environment

  •  Possess the willingness to learn improve and adapt.
  •  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written,
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and adapt to multiple priorities with short lead times.
  •  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Results driven and strives for continuous improvement.
  • Advanced IT knowledge [working knowledge of SAP an added advantage]
