Accountant with SAP Needed

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage Banking – day to day banking operations, Bank Reconciliation and Banking relationship.

Preparing Cash Vouchers & sharing with Serco (outsourced accounting firm).

Capex Booking as and when Assets procured.

Making Monthly Provision and sharing with Serco to be booked in SAP.

Handling Statutory Audit

Monthly Tax Liability working and payments – All Statutory requirements 


Indents Preparations

Review of books on monthly basis

Invoices verification

Payments / Cheques preparation

Liquidity Report & Cash Count Certificate

Compliance Certificates preparation

Payroll and Payslips

Cash Flow Forecasts

Monthly Reports to Head Office

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management and report

Imprest Management & Clearance

Preparing Annual Budget and Budget v/s Actual Variance reporting

Co-ordinate with Consultants / Head Office / Operations Head / Regional Finance Controller on any other requirement.

 The Accountant should be independently able to manage local accounting, compliance, handle Audit, Tax officials, etc. for Kenya and other East and Central African countries (as and when we start new operations in any new country).
