Our client, a Bottling and Manufacturing Company based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a Junior Material Management Coordinator.

The preferred candidate MUST have prior work experience in supply management of engineering materials.
 
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate all enquiries, quotation and orders for all material management orders.
  • Follow-up on all open purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Proactively provide feedback internally and externally on all orders, quotations etc.
  • Conduct interim and year-end stock counts.
  • Assist in coordinating overhauls with sales and service department.
  • Create and analyze material management reports.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must have 1 year plus work experience in supply management.
  • Must have a degree in purchasing and supplies or related field.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong analytical ability and detail oriented.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good written and spoken English.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 30,000 - 40,000/= (Approx. 300 - 400 USD) depending on experience

Key Responsibilities;
  • Organization, planning and validation of all technical activities and tasks.
  • Financial management and cost control of the project. 
  • Claim and reclamation management.
  • Spare and wear parts management in relation to projects.
  • Manage maintenance contracts.
  • Manage key account customers.
  • Manage new installations and commissioning.

Qualifications;
  • Must have 4 years plus work experience in project management.
  • Must have a degree in engineering or related field.
  • Must have solid and proven technical background.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong analytical ability and detail oriented.
  • Must have good financial understanding.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Must be willing to travel.
Monthly gross salary: Competitive depending on experience
