Qualifications:

PhD Degree in the relevant field from
a recognized University
·
At least twelve (12) years of
university teaching, five (5) of which as full-time Associate Professor
·
At least four (4) articles in
refereed journals since being appointed as Associate Professor
·
Successful supervision of at least
four (4) Masters students and at least two (2) PhD students since being
appointed Associate Professor
·
Evidence of successfully applying for
a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as Associate
Professor
·
Evidence of active participation in
departmental activities and good quality teaching
·
Evidence of attendance and
contribution at learning conferences, seminars or Workshops
ii) Associate Professor
Qualifications:
·
PhD Degree in the relevant field from
a recognized university
·
At least eight (8) years of
university teaching, four (4) of which as a full-time Senior Lecturer
·
Successfully supervised at least four
(4) Masters students and one (1) PhD student, since being appointed as Senior
Lecturer
·
At least four (4) articles in
refereed journals since being appointed as Senior Lecturer
·
Evidence of successfully applying for
a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as Senior
Lecturer
·
Evidence of active participation in
departmental activities and good quality teaching
·
Evidence of attendance and
contribution at learned conferences, seminars or Workshops
iii) Senior Lecturer
Qualifications:
·
PhD Degree in the relevant field from
a recognized University
·
At least five (5) years of university
teaching, three (3) of which as full-time Lecturer

At least three (3) articles in
refereed journals since being appointed as Lecturer
·
Successful supervision of at least
three (3) Masters students since being appointed Lecturer

post qualification work experience in a busy organization preferably an
institution of higher learning

Work experience in the Rwanda

ii. Library Assistant
Grade C/D
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor Degree in Library and
Information Science or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized
institution
·
At least three (3) years relevant
post-qualification work experience
·
Computer literate
iii. Procurement Assistant
Grade A/B
Qualifications:
·
Form Four Certificate Division III or
KCSE Mean Grade C (Plain) or equivalent and above
·
Diploma in Procurement/ Supplies and
Logistics or equivalent from a recognized institution
·
At least three (3) years experience
in Purchasing and Supplies Management, one (1) of which must be in a public
institution
iv. Accounts Assistant
Grade A/B
Qualifications:
·
Form Four Certificate Division IV or
KCSE Mean Grade D+ (Plus) or equivalent and above
·
KATC Final or CPA Part I or
equivalent from a recognized institution
·
At least three (3) years work
experience in a busy organization
·
Computer literate
v. Secretary
Grade A/B
·

Type writing speed of 50 wpm
·
Shorthand speed of 60 wpm

C. Terms of Service:
A. Full - Time Appointment:
The terms of service for the above
include a generous medical scheme, house allowance and commuting allowance.
Successful candidates will be offered
two (2) year renewable performance - based contract.
Gratuity will be paid at the end of
the contract.
B. Part – Time Appointment:
Lecturers interested in Part – Time teaching should clearly indicate so in their application.
They will be engaged on pre-determined hourly rates.
