Key Account Manager
The Key Account Manager will report
to the Regional Director for Sage East Africa.
The primary function of this sales
management position will be to focus on leading the strategic role of managing
the Sage Key accounts in the region with priority focus of growing the software
revenue from them.
These strategic key accounts will be
primary users of Sage X3, Sage HRM, Sage HR & Payroll and Sage Evolution
products.
Principal Duties / Tasks and Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth in the existing client
base through a structured and well managed relationship with the
identified key clients.
- Facilitate collaboration with the other Sage
EA line management in managing and developing Key Account Management
strategy in East Africa
- Ensure the client retention levels for
renewals in line with the global client standards.
- Provide solution selling in the SMB space
especially when it comes to business management software (ERP and HR &
Payroll and Accounting)
- Facilitate pro-active market observation and
identification of inventive marketing channels for new business
opportunities
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
- Bachelors’ degree in business
administration or any other relevant course
- Minimum of 5 years proven sales/management
track record.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and
presentation skills.
- Previous sales experience in selling ERP and
HR & Payroll solutions space will be an added advantage
Regional Head – SAGE East Africa
This is a senior position in which
the incumbent’s purpose is to manage Sage East Africa branch, based in Nairobi
Kenya.
The incumbent will be responsible for
all products in the region (Sage X3, Sage HRM, Sage Evolution, Sage 300, Sage
People, Sage Premier, sage Partner Payroll and Sage One).
He / She will also be responsible for
spearheading the Sage “Grow Africa Strategy” in East Africa.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Drive and jointly manage with the Sage global
regional teams, the Enterprise and SMB sales pipeline
- Provide strategic planning and implementation
of business processes and procedures to increase branch turnover and
profit
- Manage employees through strategic guidance,
support, advise, performance reviews etc.
- Support the business development management
team in developing new business development initiatives
- Assist in building and developing the alliance
partner network in East Africa
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and up skilling
of the East Africa employees
- Ensure Sage East Africa business growth
objectives are met
- Manage day to day operations of the branch
Qualifications, Experience and
Knowledge
- Degree in Business and Strategic Management
(Master’s Degree is an added advantage)
- 10 years working experience in IT Enterprise
solutions sector (5 of which must be in senior management)
- Ideal candidates must have a proven track
record as business leaders
- Solid experience in managing a highly
motivated and skilled sales team will be a necessity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
