About Action Africa Help International: Action Africa Help International (AAH-I) is an African-led, regional organisation, working in Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Zambia. 

It brings over 25 years’ experience working with communities in conflict and post-conflict situations, including refugees, internally displaced people, host communities and communities in urban slums.
 

AAH Kenya is implementing a project in Mara Division called the Mara Division Enterprise Development Project (MDED).  

The project’s goal is to strengthen the community’s resilience and capacity to lead their own development through supporting an entrepreneurial mind-set in community members. 

This project will be working with livestock keepers, women and youth in the Mara division to address their economic development issues that will increase their income.
 
AAH-K is looking for a committed individual for a temporary position (6 months) to support the team as an intern

The individual will be the project ambassador in the community and work closely with the Project officer, driver and community focal persons to support office and field activities in Mara Division. 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
·                     A fresh university graduate or awaiting graduation in the field of social science or any other related field.
·                     Resident of Narok County with excellent verbal and written English, Swahili and the local languages.
·                     Ability to work well independently and in a team under pressure and with minimal supervision.
·                     Ability to work for longer hours and sometimes in the weekend and holidays when called upon.
·                     A strong team player of high integrity and pleasant personality and ability to work under minimal supervision.
·                     Good in public relations and well conversant with computers.
