Filing Clerk Job in Nairobi (35K)

Our client, a dynamic Hospitality and Residential Designing Company is looking for a Filing Clerk who is enthusiastic and eager to learn. 

The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment with excellent organizational abilities.

Key Requirements;
  • Maintain and arrange file room.
  • Maintain day by day productivity log of scanning and indexing activities.
  • Sort out emails by backing in the corresponding folders.
  • Organize and maintain office records accurately in hard and soft copies.
  • Interact with clients and visitors and serve them refreshments.
  • Sort out materials in accordance with the filing system used.
  • Receive packages for the company, stamp and distribute to various staff.
  • Screen and direct incoming calls.
  • In charge of printer i.e. loading printing papers.
  • Perform data entry when required.
  • Maintain a record of materials removed from the library.
  • Remove and trash out-of-date materials.
  • Place essential papers and materials in files.
  • Help other office staff where necessary e.g. with calls and or any other duties.
  • Receptionist duties.
  • In charge of recycling collection and organization.
  • Binding, typing, scanning, photocopying duties etc.
  • Purchasing and keeping stocks of office supplies and maintain a record of the same.
  • Must have a degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Must have knowledge of payroll system.
  • Familiar with NSSF and NHIF payments.
  • HR related duties.
  • Basic accounting skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 35,000/= (Approx. 350 USD)
