Hotel Receptionist
Background: Our client who has recently opened a new 4 star
modern hotel in Garissa would wish to recruit qualified and competent candidate
to join a team of highly motivated hospitality professional for the position of
receptionist/front office staff.
The position holder is responsible
for providing a friendly welcoming and efficient service to all hotel guests in
line with the vision, mission and values of the hotel.
The main purpose is to respond
courteously to guests requests, general running of the receptions requests, and
smooth room booking service
Specific Duties
- Undertake the front of house duties including
meeting, greeting, and attending to the needs of the guests to ensure an
excellent customer service experience.
- Build a good rapport with all guests and
resolve any complains quickly to maintain high quality customer service.
- Deal with guests requests to ensure
comfortable and pleasant stay.
- Assist guests in connecting and using the
hotel communication facilities
- Assist in dealing with customer complains in
an effective and courteous manner, providing solutions quickly.
- Keep the reception area clean at all times
- Ensure room bookings are made and recorded
accurately
Skills and Experience Required:
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality training
and previous customer service experience in the hospitality industry.
Excellent Honest, good team work with administrative skills and the
ability to use emails and booking systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good
telephone etiquettes.
