Quantity Surveyors
 
Skills & Competencies:
Candidates for this role must be a team player and should meet the following criteria:
·                     Qualified to degree level / equivalent or compensating experience
·                     Must show longevity in employment history
·                     Must have a “Contractors” background and preferably have experience of working with a major contractor
·                     Must have experience in Civil engineering and Highways
·                     Must be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with good contract knowledge of JBC
·                     Should have a reasonably stable employment background
·                     IT Literate, particularly MS Word and MS Excel

The Role 

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:
·                     managing commercial and contractual arrangements

Requirements

Human Resources Manager

Duties and responsibilities:
·                     Formulation and implementation of Human Resources Policies, strategies and evaluating their effectiveness.

Job brief: We are looking for a qualified accountant to handle prepare, compute, manage, research and analyze all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of our business.

Qualifications for Project Accountants Education and Experience:
·                     Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field with at least CPA(K).
·                     Proficient in use of accounting software and wide exposure to all accounting aspects
·                     Knowledge of accepted standard accounting principles and their applications.
·                     Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel and Modeling)

Construction Clerk of Works

Function of Job: 
Under the general direction of responsible project manager or designated supervisor, coordinate and monitor all phases of building construction at the work site for Suraya Property.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
·                     Coordinate, monitor and inspect work of construction contractor for assigned projects on behalf of Suraya Property.
·                     Review contract documents, architectural drawings and specifications in order to maintain familiarity with assigned projects and insure construction contractor’s full understanding of documents.
·                     Review contractor shop drawings and provide comments on conformance/non-conformance to architect.
·                     Act as liaison between architect and contractor.
·                     Conduct on-site observation and spot-checks of work in progress.
·                     Ensure contract compliance by the contractor, such as conducting tests specified in contract and installing materials/equipment as specified in contract, and report deficiencies to project manager, architect and contractor.
·                     Provide reports on all on-site matters, including third-party inspections, progress, safety concerns, and causes for delay.
·                     Maintain job-site files, documents, reports and daily log; prepare periodic reports for University/University System managers and architect as required.
·                     Attend all job-site meetings as Suraya Property representative or in conjunction with project manager.
·                     Receive, record, present for architect approval, and maintain custody of samples submitted by construction contract.
·                     Review requests for progress payments submitted by construction contractor and forward with recommendations to architect.
·                     Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
·                     Associate’s degree in construction technology, building science or related field and six years of related experience in building construction in capacity such as clerk of the works or project manager, or Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience.
·                     Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, codes, and other material pertinent to construction.
·                     Working knowledge of building components and systems.
·                     Knowledge of construction materials, means and methods.
·                     Knowledge of applicable state and federal building codes, Life Safety and hazardous materials.
·                     Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships.
·                     Ability to wear/use personal protective equipment as needed on construction site.
Additional Desirable Applications:

Project Financial Analyst

Key Skills & Competences

The Project Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes of the organization and preparing Bank reports.

Responsibilities
·                     Preparing monthly internal financial statements, including multiple levels of consolidation of the Company’s entities.
·                     Preparing monthly internal financial reports for various levels of management.
·                     Preparing Joint Venture Financial Statements to be provided to joint venture partners.
·                     Monitoring budget-to-actual performance on a monthly basis and working with management to obtain budget revisions.
·                     Compiling the Company’s forecast on a monthly basis, and analyzing forecast date provided by operations for reasonableness.
·                     Preparing quarterly reporting for bank.
·                     Compiling the Project Budget, and analyzing budget data provided by operations for reasonableness.
·                     Assisting with ad-hoc projects, presentations for management and others and accounting research.
Academic and Professional Qualification
·                     Degree in Quantity Survey
