Job Description: Our client, a reputable Dry cleaning company that offers laundry services seeks to hire a laundry attendant to assist in the laundry section with the washing, drying, sorting and folding of clothes and linen.
- Treat clothes and linen with stain remover and
rub with sponge or brush to remove spots and stains.
- Place clothes or linen in the right machine
and set automatic controls to handle the cleaning tasks
- Remove clothes from the machine after cleaning
is done
- Fold clothes or linens using acceptable
techniques for delivery or collections by the clients
- Make sure all cleaned clothes or linen are
covered at all times before delivery/collection
- Use protective clothing and equipment when
working and possess ability to learn the procedures.
- Be able to follow instructions and work with
minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Applicant should have at least a Form Four
certificate. (K.C.S.E)
- Applicant must be above 18 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write and understand the
English language.
- Must be able to read and understand simple
instructions.
- Applicant should have good customer service
skills
- Must be disciplined and a good time manager.
- Prior job related experience shall be an added
advantage.
