Description: Oversee all financial and accounting operations for East African offices, currently including Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.

Report to the Head of Finance based
in New York, as a member of the management team building for scale.
Responsible for minimizing fraud while defining and monitoring control
processes governing $25+ mln in spend.
The Finance Director will manage a
team of three in-country finance managers, and conduct closing process and
audits for the region.
Requires at least 5 years of
experience executing accounting and/or audit processes with progressive levels
of responsibility.
Individual must have exceptional
communication skills and be willing to travel up to 30% of the time between
East African and US offices.
Candidates should be comfortable in a
meritocratic environment with frank, honest feedback. Preference for a
CPA, and management experience.
