Chief Financial Officer Career Opportunity

A new Technology Solutions provider in Rwanda is looking for a Chief Financial Officer for its offices in Kigali. 

The successful candidate will be not only be responsible for the Financial Department but will also be very involved in the strategic financial planning of the business as well as setting up systems and procedures to support future growth. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting / Modelling / Strategic Financial Planning.
  • Prepare a financial plan for the next three to five years for the company.
  • Prepare balance sheet and P&L for the company.
  • Forecasting, planning and regular analysis of KPIs.
  • To come up with Policies and Guidelines on how to mitigate on market and credit risk.
  • Identify the parameters of cash flow risk.
  • Analyze and assess the company’s exposure to the markets risk.
  • Monitor that operational risk mitigation are implemented by the relevant department units.
  • To provide a balance and well diversified liability base.
  • To monitor cash flows and working capital.
  • To carry out variance analysis of the budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or similar. Masters is an advantage.
  • Experience in private sector strongly preferred.
  • CA/CPA.
  • 5-10 Years Experience working in Finance/Accounting.
  • Strong Managerial skills.
  • Must be solution driven and very good decision maker.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Excellent reporting & presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS office and good computer skills.
Monthly Net Salary: Ksh. 300,000 - 500,000/= (Approx. 3’000-5’000 USD) depending on experience
