Accounts Clerk - Disbursements
 
Main Purpose of the Job: To support activities and operations in the area of accounts disbursements, specifically the processing of disbursement applications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Receiving and prioritize disbursements requests submitted
  • Conducting preliminary review of applications and highlight findings to the Disbursement Assistant
  • Scanning/Photocopying of disbursement documents, contracts and other related documents;
  • Sending routine correspondence with PIU’s, and Loan Disbursement Registry
  • Handling enquiries/requests for information
  • Filing of disbursement documents
  • Assisting the Country Program Officer (Kenya) on collecting data on disbursements
  • Assisting as required as and when issues arise
Job Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
  • Client and results oriented with a sense of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Report writing
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business administration or other related field
  • CPA II certificate or ACCA level 2
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent Computer skills
