requires an accounts assistant

Job Title Reports To: AccountantDepartment: Accounts & Finance
Main Purpose of the Job: To assist in proper maintenance of accounting records, accurate and timely production of financial reports, timely processing of payments to suppliers, tax authorities, liability settlements and debt control.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing petty cash/ imprest payments
- Recording transactions in the General ledger
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Suppliers management
- Writing payment Cheques
- Filing
- Any other duties assigned by the accountant
Person Specification
Education Qualification and Training
Education Qualification and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
- CPA (Section 4)
Knowledge and Skills
- Good communication and public relations skills
- Good computer Skills
Experience
- At least one year (1) of experience in a busy
accounts and finance environment.
Salary is 45k
