Executive Assistant

Job Summary: 
To offer professional service to internal and external customers of the office of the CEO

Duties & Responsibilities

 
The Executive Secretary will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities;
·                     Organize meetings of the management and board
·                     Organize and manage the diary of the CEO including travel arrangement for the CEO and board functions
·                     Handle corporate visitors
·                     Manage correspondences including in and outgoing telephone calls
·                     In charge of the administrative roles for the CEO office including secretarial duties
·                     Handle custody of the minutes books and other confidential and accountable documents of the Society
Qualifications & Experience
 
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate should;
·                     Degree in business administration or related field
·                     Diploma in Public Relation or its equivalent
·                     4-5 years of relevant experience at senior management level

ICT Manager

Job Summary:
 Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer, the ICT Manager will be responsible for the provision and maintenance of an effective and efficient ICT infrastructure to ensure the successful realization of the Sacco’s strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

 
The ICT Manager will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities;
·                     Manage all operations of the ICT Department and ensuring timely provision of ICT services to all functions of the Society.
·                     Design, coordinate, implement and review systems, processes and procedures of ICT and make appropriate recommendations on improvements
·                     Advise management on optimization of ICT resources in the Sacco Society.
·                     Ensure optimal disaster recovery and an optimal efficient and effective ICT infrastructure that fully supports the business.
·                     Oversee purchase, installation, configuration and maintenance of user application software, operating system software and internet communication system within the computer network of the society.
·                     Ensure security and integrity of hardware and software
·                     Ensure user awareness of safety, security, and updates for the ICT.
·                     Provide appropriate information and guidance on emerging and best practices in ICT.
·                     Ensuring implementation of well coordinated systems with sufficient controls in all areas of the ICT.
Qualifications & Experience
 
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate should;
·                     Degree in computer science or equivalent
·                     CCNA and MCSE Certification
·                     4-5 years relevant experience at senior management level

Business Development & Marketing Manager

Job Summary: 
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Business Development & Marketing Manager will foster the origination and development of new businesses and provide support for the marketing of the Sacco’s capabilities to its clients and potential clients.

Duties & Responsibilities
 
The Business Development & Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities;
·                     Ensure business growth by pursuing business in the sectors and regions in which the Sacco is actually or potentially active and implement and focused approach to business development in identified sectors.
·                     Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for the Sacco at an agreed growth oriented annual target and follow through on potential new business opportunities.
·                     Identify target and potential markets and craft appropriate strategies for membership/customer growth in existing and new market niches including design of ways to consistently communicate the brand and products in all marketing activities.
·                     Conduct Marketing activities based on knowledge of the customers segments and target market, so as to deliver products and services that satisfy the market segments.
·                     Develop and implementing appropriate communication and public relations strategies.
·                     Oversee the design, execution, and communication of primary marketing research studies to evaluate specific performance, SACCO positioning, competitive positioning and customer profiling as well as managing the analysis and interpretation of secondary research data to provide direction for strategic plans.
·                     To keep alert to competitive forces and marketing practices and to keep the management advised on ways to counter them.
·                     To design and develop products and services that will satisfy various market segments based on market research findings.
·                     Provide team leadership within the department through professional staff performance management by motivating, setting targets to the sales team and all other staff members as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
 
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate should;
·                     Degree in marketing or business related field
·                     Masters degree in business related field will be an added advantage
·                     Professional membership from a relevant body
·                     Five years of relevant experience at senior management level.

Human Resource & Administration Manager

Job Summary: 
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resource & Administration Manager will be responsible for attracting, motivating and retaining the right human capital to ensure successful realization of the Society’s strategic objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

 
The Human Resource & Administration Manager will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities;
·                     Design, regular review and implementation of Human Resource & Administration policies
·                     Development and implementation of human resource plans, procedures and systems to guide human resource and administration function.
·                     Interpretation and provision of guidance on human resource policies and procedures
·                     Develop, coordinate and administer training and development plans
·                     Management of recruitment process, employee benefits, welfare and labour regulations
·                     Coordination of interdepartmental performance to ensure efficient performance and improvement of productivity
·                     Coordinate administrative related issues in the society by liaising with providers of all outsourced services and utilities which include security, medical, safety & Health amongst others.
Qualifications & Experience
 
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate should;
·                     Have a degree in human resource management, business administration, social sciences or an equivalent degree from a recognized University
·                     Have a post graduate diploma in Human resource Management and/or a masters degree in Human Resource
·                     Have at least 5 years hands-on experience in Human Resource and Administration management in a busy organization
·                     Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management
·                     Must demonstrate strong leadership and managerial skills
·                     Have a sound knowledge of corporate governance and Health & safety
·                     Must be a team player and a person of high integrity
