Applicants should be holders of a Ph.D degree in Educational Administration from a recognized university. 

Applicants who are holders of a master’s degree in Educational Administration and a minimum of at least (3) years teaching at experience university level will also be considered. 


In addition they must have a minimum of two (2) publications in refereed journals or two (2) chapters in scholarly books. 

The successful candidates will be expected to teach both undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels and also undertake research in their areas of specialization.

Lecturer, Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition

Applicants must be holders of PhD or Msc degree in Human Nutrition and/or Diatetics /Clinical Nutrition or relevant degree from a recognized university. 

They should have, demonstrated strong bias in Dietetics/Clinical Nutrition practice. 

The Msc level applicant must have evidence of having registered for PhD with a bias towards Dietetics /Clinical Nutrition. 

In addition they must show evidence of having published at least two (2) papers in peer refereed journals and are computer literate. 

Those with experience in teaching or are practicing Dietetics /Clinical / Therapeutics Nutrition will be given preference. 

Applicants must be currently registered with Kenya Nutritionist and Dietitians Institute (KNDI).

Preference will be given to those who are registered Dietitians/Clinical Nutritionists with relevant national or international associations and / or have worked in clinical settings. 

The successful candidates will be expected to teach both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Supervise students, develop course materials and conduct research in addition to completing their PHD research work.
 
Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics

Applicants must be holders of PhD Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management or equivalent. 

Those with Masters Degree in the relevant field and have at least three (3) year teaching experience at university level will also be considered. 

In both cases they should have research experience with at least two (2) publications in refereed journals or two (2) chapters in scholarly books since last promotion. They should show evidence of continuing research activity.
 
The successful candidate will be expected to teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervise their research projects, initiate and conduct research.

Applicants must be holders of a PhD Degree in Economics/Health Economics from a recognized university. 

Applicants with Masters Degree in Economics/Health related discipline with at least three (3) years teaching at University level and a minimum of two (2) publications in refereed journals or two (2) chapters in scholarly books will also be considered. 

Candidates with the relevant Masters qualification but without University level teaching experience will be considered only if they have five (5) years’ experience as practitioner/researcher in Health/Health Economics related disciplines. 

They should also be able to provide evidence of continuing research.

The successful candidates will be expected to teach at least three (3) of the following units: Biostatistics and Computing, Application of Economic Evaluation in Health Care, Health Policy and Planning, Economics of Health Systems and Financing, Epidemiology and Research Methods for the Masters of Science in Health Economics and Policy.
