Finance Manager Job in Kenya

Our client, one of the Leading Dairy Companies in Kenya, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager whose main responsibility will be formulation and implementation of sound, effective and efficient financial and accounting policies and procedures. 

The position reports to the CEO and has the following key responsibilities:
  • Formulate the strategic operational objectives for the Finance department in line with the overall corporate plan;
  • Monitor the achievement of the company’s Revenue targets and advise accordingly;
  • Line management role for department ;
  • Prepare timely financial statements and reports as required by all pertinent laws and regulations;
  • Coordinate effective treasury management to ensure effective cash flow and cash flow analysis;
  • Liaise with External Auditors and management to ensure that all financial transactions are compliant with existing regulatory instruments and accounting standards.
Key skills and competencies
  • A minimum of a Degree in Accounting, or related field
  • Professional Accounting qualification e.g. CPA (K), ACCA, ACA etc.
  • At least six (6) years working experience of which at least three (3) must be at a senior role
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Membership of a professional body.
