Project Manager Job in Kenya

We are an emerging technology and technology advisory firm, operating under a budding conglomerate of group of companies. 

Our business is providing technology solutions to a wide range of clients in private and public sectors. 

We seek to recruit a self-driven individual to the position of Business Lead / Project Manager

Reporting to the Group CEO, the successful candidate will have the key responsibility of driving the multifaceted projects through the whole product and sales cycles.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute all Business Development transactions including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships / alliances, and licensing etc
  • Lead various phases of the product development and sales processes including analysis of inorganic strategy and markets, target identification and screening, structuring, valuation, due diligence, negotiation and closing
  • Supports prioritization of market segment requirements, performs gap analysis to business unit portfolio
  • Manage communication and alignment with key internal stakeholders to support effective decision making and transaction approval processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology related discipline (preferred), or social sciences(strongly considered)
  • Minimum of four years of relevant business development experience preferably in a technology environment.
  • Some experience supporting and / or leading certain elements of the transaction process including: analyzing strategy and markets, identifying and screening targets, structuring, due diligence, negotiation and closing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for both managing and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives
  • Team leadership and individual contribution and facilitation skills in a matrix organization and interacting with senior executives
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Clear thinking: Some experience simplifying processes into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information, and communicating priorities clearly and concisely
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
  • Adaptable/Flexible: Open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent working knowledge of English language (oral and written)
