HR & Administration Manager Job in Kenya

Human Resources & Administration Manager 
 
For one of Kenya’s leading insurance companies --  we are urgently searching for a human resources team leader reporting to the managing director.   

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in a human resources function – with a strong grasp of the theory and practice  in all the elements of the HR cycle including  -- recruitment and selection, induction, job descriptions and grading, training, performance improvement, remuneration, and corporate change.   

Willingness to understand every aspect of the business and the department workflows and reporting, in order match the needs of the business with the skills and mindset needed




 
Ability to manage the organization’s employee relations, ensuring compliance to  employee terms and conditions of service, and other laws  and  regulations including the  Employment Act, NSSF Act, NHIF Act and  RBA Act. Plus, managing staff pensions, medical schemes, relocation and other staff welfare services

Energetic “can do” attitude to work – with an understanding of   the organisational change  process, assisted by aCatalyst Consulting 

University graduate and a member of the IHRM – with a job history of  taking on increasing responsibility and achieving results

Able to work both independently and work effectively with other managers in the  senior management team

Ability to think logically, be analytical and assess a management problem combined with a touch of creativity to come up with a insightful solution that works.

Polished communication skills both in verbal presentations and in writing

Fully computer literate, word processing, spreadsheets and e mail.
