- 1. Participate in compilation of financial
information and bank reconciliation arising from issuance of licenses.
- 2. Assist senior officers to compile data on
Accounting of expenditure and revenue.
- 3. Assist in development/implementation of
accounting programs, maintenance of ledger and cash books.
- 4. Participate in issue/use of various
accounting tools-payment vouchers, imprest warrants, cheque books,
receipts etc.
- 5. Assist in collection of revenue from
various sources-exchequer issues clients and development partners.
- 6. Work with senior officers to prepare
payment documents on claims and debts by employees, suppliers and
statutory authorities.
- 7. Participate in organizing approvals of
payments documents ,allocation of funds for payments and effecting the

- 8. Assist in tagging of assets, inputting in
the assets management system, computing assets depreciation and verifying
balances on each account.

proposals and concepts for treatment and rehabilitation activities.
- Conduct monitoring of treatment and
rehabilitation programs
- Participate in providing support in evaluating
client’s physical/mental conditions.
- Assist in referring clients and family members
to community resources or to specialists where necessary.
- Support report writing on the treatment and
rehabilitation activities.
- Provide counselling services on the 24 hour
helpline services.
- Maintain effective filling system for soft and
hard copies of program and reports.
Qualification and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in counselling, psychology
or related field from a recognized university
- Diploma in Addiction counselling will be an
added advantage
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a

budgets for the regional office in liaison with the regional programme
manager

- Provide guidance to the Board on their duties
and responsibilities and on matters of Governance and how these should be
exercised in the best interest of the Authority.
- Ensure that Board procedures be followed and
reviewed regularly and that the Board complies with the Laws, rules and
regulations
- Assisting the Chairperson in organizing Board
activities, including providing information, preparing agenda, issuing

- Oversee the accreditation of training
institutions on treatment and Rehabilitation of person with Substance Use
Disorders (SUDs)
- Co-ordinate the certification of addiction
professionals in the country
- Oversee the Licensing of treatment and
Rehabilitation centers
- Ensure development and implementation of
advocacy strategies in treatment and Rehabilitation
- Liaison with the stakeholders on the
establishment of treatment and rehabilitation centers across the country.
- Spearhead making of recommendation for actions
involving formulation of rehabilitation plans and treatment of offenders,
including conditional release and education as well as lobbying for
inclusion of persons with substance use disorders in the insurance cover.
- Coordinate monitoring and evaluation of
implementation of treatment and rehabilitation policies /strategies.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly progress
reports for policy makers.
Qualification and Competencies
- Master’s degree in
psychology/psychiatrist/social work/or public Health.
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
in a busy organization, three of which must have served on senior
management level.
