Our law firm
requires a Legal Clerk in both litigation and conveyancing department.
Applicants
must meet the following requirements; they include but are not limited to:
- Good grasp of court
and arbitration rules and procedures
- Knowledge and
experience in conveyancing, commercial law transactions and civil
litigation
- Possess excellent interpersonal
skills
- Self-motivated
- Able to work with
minimal or no supervision at all
- Able to travel on
short notice
- Ability to handle
pressure
- Must be computer
literate
- Paralegal training
Knowledge,
Skills and Attitude Required
- Be in possession of a
Bachelors of Law Degree (LLB) from a recognized institution
- Computer proficient
- Have a minimum of one
year continuous work experience in a busy legal firm dealing in
conveyancing, commercial law transactions and civil litigation
- Demonstrate ability to
undertake legal research to find authoritative and relevant legal
information on diverse areas of law
- Analytical and
judgmental skills sufficient to anticipate regulatory and legal risks
- Ability to work with
integrity, confidentiality and with minimum supervision
