The Council of Legal Education is established under the Legal Education Act, No. 27 of 2012 of the Laws of Kenya. 

The core functions of the Council of Legal Education are to regulate legal education and training, to license and supervise legal education providers; conduct Bar Examinations; and to advice the Government on matters relating to legal education and training.

In order to efficiently and effectively deliver its functions, the Council wishes to recruit a full time high calibre staff in the following position:-

Overall purpose of the job: Clean all areas of the office, with the key aim of enhancing employee and customer experience by having excellent standards of Office cleanliness.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
  • Mix various cleaning agents.
  • Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
  • Move equipment and furniture.
  • Identify and report possible repairs.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Applicants must beholders of at least a KCSE certificate or its equivalent.
  • They must have at least 2 years working experience in relevant offices.
  • They must have good public relations.
  • They must be of high integrity, reliable, disciplined and committed to work.
  • They will also be expected to work during odd hours
Salary Scale

Basic Pay: Kshs.30,000 x 1,800 to 31,800 x 1,800 to 33,600 x 1,800 to 35,400 x 1,800 to 37,200 x 1,800 to 39,000 x 1,800 to 40,800 x 1,800 to 42,600 x 1,800 to 44,400 x 1,800 to 46,800
 
House Allowance: Kshs.16,500
 
Commuter Allowance: Kshs.5,000
