Project Manager
 
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Project life-cycle by managing projects assigned and work with team members using project management tools identified
  • Build the project requirements, and manage the triple constraint for projects, which is cost, time, and scope.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Prepare a communication plan and spearhead communication throughout the project
  • Organize regular Project Meetings and Kick-off meetings for all projects
  • Track projects on a daily basis and alert stakeholders of any delays
  • Generate project status reports on a regular basis
  • Prepare a detailed Project Plan and share with stakeholders as per requirements
  • Develop, administer and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems for the storage and retrieval of documents to include project plans, project deliverables, templates and other project related documentation in both written and electronic format.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis, and devise contingency plans
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Keep and update the risk register for all projects.
  • Generation of lessons learnt documentation on project closure.
  • Preparation of project invoices to clients.
Preferred skills and experience
  • A degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • PMI Certification
  • 2 years’ work experience related to IT/EFT/ICT projects
  • Excellent computer skills & Microsoft office experience in particular MS Project.
  • Should possess strong oral and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work independently, handle a variety of concurrent activities and deliver assignments within set deadlines.
  • Ability to monitor and follow-up on pending matters under minimum supervision
  • Self-reliant, proactive and display initiative in solving problems.
