(AAH-I) is an African-led, regional organisation, working in East and Southern
Africa to improve the lives of livelihood-challenged communities.
It brings over 20 years’ experience
working with communities in conflict and post-conflict situations, including
refugees, internally displaced people, host communities, pastoralists and
communities in urban slums.
Action Africa Help International
(AAH-I) is recruiting the following positions:
a) Grants Finance Manager –
who will provide a bridge between programs and finance by providing leadership
and direction for programs performance; coordinates the implementation of grant
awards and ensures post-award compliance; compiles financial and non-financial
data for the preparation of internal reports, compliance reports, and grants
donor billings.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Finance and Grants Management;
- 4 years’ experience in Finance and Grants
Management;
- Experience in writing and reviewing financial
reports in an international NGO.
b) Human Resource Manager –
who will provide a professional HR service and manage the administration
functions of the organization in a manner that ensures there is a conducive
working environment, a skilled and motivated workforce that facilitates the
achievement of the organizational objectives, and compliance with employment
legislature in all countries of operation.
Qualifications and Experience
- A first degree in HR management, business
administration or the social sciences;
- A Diploma in HR Management;
- 5 - 7 years experience in a similar or higher
position.
Location for both positions: HQ, Nairobi, with frequent travel to the field
