The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is a Global Leader in the fight against Pediatric HIV and Provision of HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment services. 

In Kenya, EGPAF works in partnership with the Ministry of Health and various County Governments to support the fight against HIV with funding from PEPFAR through CDC and USAID. 

EGPAF is also part of the APHIA Plus Western Program where it supports HIV Care and Treatment and PMTCT.
 
EGPAF wishes to recruit for HIV Integration Program Officers (5 Positions) to be based in Nyanza and Western Zones.
 
The Role: HIV Integration Program Officer is responsible for mentorship and supportive supervision of APHIA Plus support facilities to ensure provision of comprehensive high quality services in HIV care and treatment and PMTCT thematic area.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee implementation of HIV care and treatment and PMTCT services at supported facilities.
  • Provide Technical Assistance to supported sites through mentorship and supportive supervision in line with National guidelines
  • Develop joint work plans and ensure timely reporting and attainment of donor targets for supported facilities
  • Coordinate monthly review meetings for program progress at Sub-County Level
  • Oversee capacity building of HCW at supported facilities
  • Support implementation of the Kenya HIV Quality Improvement Framework at supported health facilities.
  • Provide leadership on the undertaking of psychosocial support activities in ART and PMTCT sites.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Nursing
  • National TOT/ Mentor Certified by NASCOP
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HIV Programming and Clinical Management of HIV infected patients.
  • Advanced degree will be an added advantage.
