Our client is a leading international
vehicle manufacturer.
They seeking to recruit a highly
ambitious candidate to fill in the following position in their Kenya office
Management Accountant
Principal Accountabilities
- Producing timely and accurate financial
reports and statements including the trial balance, profit and loss
account and balance sheet.
- Overseeing proper recording of debtors and
creditors (both trading and non-trading) and ensuring accurate
reconciliation of balances.
- Overseeing and supervising all credit control
operations including reviewing of outstanding accounts
- Reviewing bank reconciliations in accordance
with laid down documented control procedures.
- Checking petty cash vouchers for proper
authorization and acknowledgment of cash by recipients and ensuring proper
posting of the same.
- Creating of debtor accounts, maintaining
direct debit details of debtors and processing all credit applications
from Debtors
- Generating Debtor Invoices and Statements as
required and send electronic statements to debtors monthly
Qualifications, Experience and
Knowledge
- Must have CPA (K) qualifications and a business
related degree.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years’
experience in similar role in a multi-national company / automotive
industry.
- Experienced in working with accounting /
payroll software and an expert in excel will be an added advantage
- Should demonstrate ability to multi-task and
perform other tasks within the department.
- Willingness and ability to work such hours as
are necessary to accomplish job requirements
