Eljay Productions’ growing productions department seeks for talented individuals to join our team as Interns as; Production Assistant, Assistant Director and the Editor to support our busiest season.
The ideal candidates will be exposed shooting interviews with DSLR Canon 5Ds, Premiere Pro CC and Adobe CC suite.
It would be a plus to have experience
with Final Cut Pro7, Compressor, After Effects, Pluraleyes plug-in, key
removal, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and experience syncing audio in post
is also desirable.
The Production Assistant, Assistant Director and the Editor will assist our Videographer/Editor and Producers with editing a full project from inception to completion, shooting, minimal graphics work, media management, and where necessary he/she will also assist in other areas as needed.
They will be exposed to audio/video equipment including: Canon DSLRs, LED Light kits, Arri Light kits, green screens & backdrops, digital audio recorders, wireless lavalieres, shotgun mics, & basic grip gear.
We are looking for someone 20 hours a week for 8 to 12 week duration starting mid July. Join a dynamic team dedicated to telling our clients’ stories!
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- 3rd or 4th year students or Diploma or
Bachelor degree in video production and or with editing experience.
- Demonstrated expertise with experience
archiving, tagging, and media management software would be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team
member in a fast paced environment.
- Must be familiar with Mac and PC environments.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Graphics skills desired but not required.
- Detail oriented, organized and flexible
individual able to perform multiple tasks with varying priorities under
conditions requiring speed and accuracy.
- Quick learner, with the ability to grasp
complex concepts and translate them into clear concepts on video.
- Maturity to strike a balance between showing
initiative and seeking appropriate guidance and input from others.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel for
video shoots. The position would start mid July and go through August and
perhaps into September. After that, we would like to keep the relationship
going for on-call work as needed.
- Driver’s license added advantage.
