- Driving the hospitality and offering so as to
exceed guest expectations.
- Management of camp assets.
- Managing all operations of the camp, including
staff management.
- Ensuring the maintenance and ongoing
development of the Environmental Management Plan within the set framework.
- Maintaining all aspects of facilities and
assets in the camp and back of house through best practice of hygiene and
safety standards for both guests and staff.
- Drive employee development through Company
approved initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- A Diploma in Hospitality and management
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within the
hospitality industry.
- Minimum age 25yrs
- Experience in handling international guests
and seasoned travelers will give an added advantage.
- Lodge Management background and knowledge of
the camp business is preferable.
- Computer skills (MS Office suite).

Overview: This position exists to provide direction for the safe and efficient operation of business activities within the camp.

The incumbent is responsible for
ensuring activities are completed according to the Board’s policies and are
aimed at the achievement of the organizations objectives.
Duties:
Duties:
- Provide leadership in financial planning,
stewardship, analysis and forecasting.
- Responsible for reviewing financial reports,
recognizing variations and providing corrective actions to achieve budget.
- In depth understand of catering, housekeeping
and support services in camps and lodges preferably in the oil sands–
previous experience in a union environment preferable.
- Lead a team to deliver business results
around, HSEQ, Contract Performance, Financials and People Management.
- Ensure the control and effective utilization
of ESS assets through immediate subordinates.
- Assist in the development of the organization
objectives and ensure plans of action are outlined.
- Develop strategies on optimizing all aspects
of the operation through the maximizing of revenues, marketing and
services.
- Deliver business KPIs through clearly
articulated project plans, and clearly defined deadlines.
- Familiar with lean management techniques and
experience in managing to budgets.
- Ensure workforce is utilized to its highest
potential.
- Develop a solid communication link with staff
and customers, using a positive favorable image.
- Responsible for the efficiency and
effectiveness of the maintenance of all assets.
- Ensure development requirements are identified
and appropriate plans of actions are implemented to fulfill the needs.
- Guide subordinates in the identification and
achievement of the organizations goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Required: (please only apply if you
meet all required qualifications):
- 5-10 years senior management experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Remote Camp
environment
- Minimum age 30 years
- Significant experience in establishing,
implementing and training Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental
Health, Food Safety/Quality Assurance policies and practices is required
- Hospitality services (e.g.: hotel, diners,
food and beverage etc.)
- Diploma in hospitality and management. A
degree and Masters will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of equipment and equipment
maintenance
- Knowledge of computer programs (Excel, Word)
- Working with clients, customers, stakeholders
and political individuals
Sagana rapids camp would like to give

Responsibilities
- Determine how food should be presented, and
create decorative food displays.
- Determine production schedules and staff
requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Estimate amounts and costs of required
supplies, such as food and ingredients.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to
ensure conformance to established standards.
- Instruct cooks and other workers in the
preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that
employees follow standards and regulations

Sagana rapids camp would like to give
the opportunity to work on the camp to willing and competent Swimmers / Divers
The position entails Rafting,
Kayaking and other water sport activities.
This position entails:
- Handling and distributing of Rafting and
Kayaking equipments
- Leading the Sagana river swims
- Being the face of the camp, greeting and
interacting with guests
- Maintaining and caring for all equipment such
as Ghekos, kayaks, and water equipment gears
