Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for day to day finance and
accounts operations in Africa
- Handle full spectrum of financial and cost
accounting role including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and
Budgeting.
- Ensuring statutory returns are filed on a
timely basis
- Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
- Liaison with external Auditors, ensuring
Financial Statements prepared by the Auditors are accurate and in line
with the local and IFRS regulations
- Preparing daily Bank Balances and Cash flows
- Ensuring processes, checks and controls within
the department are followed as per the requirements
- Monitoring implementation of processes, checks
and controls within the department
- Any other work assigned by the management
Education Requirement
- Fully qualified accountant e.g. CPA
(K)/ACCA/etc.
- Degree in business related discipline
- Experience in direct involvement of working
with ERP systems
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Finance
Manager/Director in a large organization.
