Our client, the Kenya Tea Packers (KETEPA) Ltd is a leading private sector tea packaging and marketing company with a countrywide distribution network. 

The company has over 30 year’s presence in the Kenyan and international markets. 

In order to support the current modernization initiatives, talent development and enhancement of shareholder value, the company is seeking to recruit talented, creative and result-oriented professionals for the following positions which will be either based in Kericho or Nairobi.

These positions will play a key role in ensuring attainment of KETEPA’s objectives.

Head of Finance
Ref: HR/FA/PKF 01
 
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing financial strategies, policies & procedures. 


This entails proper maintenance of finance and accounting systems, providing leadership in ensuring profitability, increased shareholder value and achievement of business targets.

Qualifications, Experience and Key Competencies
 
A Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting) option, Masters of Business Administration & CPS (K) will be an added advantage, Professional qualifications in CPA (K) ACCA, ACA is a must. 

The candidate must have at least 10 years minimum experience of which 5 should be in a senior  management level. 

Computer literacy with good knowledge of computerized accounting applications is essential for this position. 

Analytical and leadership skills, decisiveness and business acumen are requisite competencies.
 
Head of HR and Administration
Ref: HR/HA/PKF 02
 
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing Human Resource & Administration strategies, policies & procedures for the company with focus on recruitment, talent development employee Relations, compensation and Benefits.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

Bachelors degree in social science/HR management from a recognized University; A Masters degree will be an added advantage; Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management is essential and candidate should be an authorized HR practitioner. 

A ten (10) years experience is required and of which 5 should be at a senior management level. The candidates must have through knowledge of Kenyan labour laws. 

In addition, the right candidate must demonstrate computer proficiency in MS Office application suite, excellent Negotiation and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent verbal/and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and ensuring implementation of marketing and brand strategies in line with long term corporate plan.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
 
A Bachelors degree in a business related field; Masters Degree is an added advantage; Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM) and Member of MSK. 

The candidate must have at least 10 years experience in FMCG, preferably in the food industry or a company dealing with multi products and at least 3 years in senior management level. 

The candidate must demonstrate experience gained in a marketing management role where product development, consumer insights, communication and marketing agencies management coupled with strong leadership and analytical skills.

Sales Manager (Hotels, Restaurant & Catering Units)

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Distribution, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a trade marketing & distribution strategies for company’s outlets in line with the overall corporate strategy, develop mutual business relationship with HoReCa accounts and ensure the necessary infrastructure and processes to deliver brand and trade programs to meet distribution channels specific requirements.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
 
A Bachelors degree in a business related field coupled with Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing/CIM. Masters degree will be an added advantage. 

7 years relevant experience with an indepth knowledge in Sales, distribution plus minimum of 3 years in handling the HoReCa channel will be essential. 

Experience in beverage industry will be an added advantage. 

The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, good business acumen and entrepreneurial skills, good planning and organization skills and good leadership skills.
