Farm Assistant Internship
Location: Mai Mahiu
We are a startup business growing cereals, vegetables and rearing poultry. We currently have an internship opportunity for a position of a farm assistant.
We prefer interns willing to stay on the farm for a minimum period of 3months.
Abilities / Skills:
- Team work
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with chickens
- The ability to plan, prioritize and implement
work schedules
- Good problem-solving (analytical) ability
- A responsible attitude and to be able to work
independently
- Enjoy doing manual work
- Able to handle isolation and minimal social
interaction
- Technical knowledge of the environment
- Reliable and committed
