- Supervision of office services – telephone,
cleaning, messengerial and registry;
- Allocation of office accommodation, furniture
and equipment and keep records thereof;
- Effective management and administration of
transport services including allocation of vehicles and supervision of
drivers;
- Undertake coordinated maintenance of office
buildings;
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and servicing,
cleaning services;
- Authorize vehicle journeys and administer work
tickets;
- Insurance for motor vehicles;
- Settle utility bills – water and electricity –
and keep records thereof;
- Coordinate security matters in the centre;

Accountant II

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure financial records are maintained in
compliance with accepted policies and procedures;
- Perform general accounting duties: collect
revenue, process payments, monitor revenue collection and expenditures
based on approved budgets;
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly and
quarterly financial reports;
- Compile and analyze financial information to
prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts;
- Provide safe keeping of invoices, receipts and
other accounts records;
- Carry out regular stock takes and report
accordingly;

the Institute‟s knowledge management strategy;
- To develop and implement a knowledge

- To create and streamline the process of
systematically capturing, documenting, accessing, reviewing and sharing
information

KEFRI;
- To provide training, advice, technical
assistance and backstopping for the improvement of knowledge management
across the organisation
- To create awareness on the behavior and
culture needed to promote knowledge management
- To ensure that systems supporting Knowledge
management are integrated and appropriately supported;
- To undertake Monitoring and Evaluation on
implementation of Knowledge Management in the Institute
Requirements for Appointment

Knowledge Management Officer II or in a comparable position;

- BSc in Forestry/Natural Resource Management/
Environmental Studies/Agriculture/Information Science (Second Class -Upper
