Position: Export Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the execution of export documentation requirements, commercial invoices, etc.
  • Provide essential international order processing and documentation.
  • Customer service and shipping assistance.
  • Customer liaison by phone, email, fax.
  • Good communication requirement.
  • Ensure that all documentation meet export regulation.
  • Arrange details of shipment with forwarders, carriers as necessary for exports.
  • Responsible for all export filing.
  • Ensure packing specifications, shipping details, delivery notes, copy invoices, BOL, L.O.C etc. are filed together.
  • Adhere to all ISO procedures and work instructions.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Prepare export schedule for V.A.T purposes and submit to the accounts department before the 10th of every month.
  • Liaise with other departments, particularly production and sales to be aware of the customers’ delivery status.
  • Prepare and submit relevant administration in timely and accurate manner, e.g. shipping details, E.T.A, letter of credit, declaration,packing,routing,eur1,E.A.C,Comesa,G.S.P,health certificate etc.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Diploma/Certificate
  • Knowledge of EAC, COMESA, SADC, USA and Customs requirement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, freight forwarding, freight brokerage or related field.
  • Experience filing Electronic Export Information
  • Solid knowledge of local laws and Trade regulations for compliance management.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
