Job Title: Technical Installation Supervisor

They seek to hire a highly skilled individual for the role of an installation supervisor.
 

Purpose: To ensure timely & quality installation of electronic security systems
 
Key Responsibilities
  • To supervise all installation technicians installing electronic security equipments.
  • To ensure quality installation is completed within the quoted time
  • To check daily Job cards for technicians against the job requirements.
  • To check client complaint book and activation sheets and allocate technician.
  • To liaise with the technical coordinator on fixing client appointments.
  • To prepare daily installation plans.
  • To attend site meetings  and ensure that the installation plan is compliant with the clients expectations.
  • To assist the operations department in compiling incidence reports.
  • To train technicians on new and existing electronic security equipments.
  • To do surveys for new and upgrade of electronic security systems.
  • To ensure department Vehicles are fueled all the time.
  • To ensure that installation technicians have all the relevant tools and equipment while on duty.
  • To ensure that all the technicians are in full company uniform and display Company Identity Cards while on duty.
  • To ensure security of clients’ property and tidiness of the premises while attending to the allocated assignments.
Qualification & Skills
  • Degree/Diploma in electrical engineering and/or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar relevant field
  • Must have practical installation experience of security systems such as Alarms, CCTV, etc.
  • Possess a solid customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere
  • Able to explain technical information to non-technical people with respect and courtesy
  • Solid Understanding of security Equipment

They seek to hire a Deployment Manager to manage Security Services in a specified zone In-charge of a business Sub - unit and ensuring profitability of the business in the Sub- unit

Responsibilities & Authorities
  • Supervise the day to day security operations of Deployment, Supervision and allocation of duties as required at the Client Sites.
  • Responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day team effort of Supervisors, Liaison Officers, Senior Liaison Officers and other assigned personnel to ensure that services are delivered in a quality and cost effective manner within the assigned zone.
  • Ensure proper channels of communication exist and are enforced between the employees and the headquarters.
  • To mentor performance SLO and LO’s and mentor as necessary.
  • Oversee compliance of Guards with established Company Policies and Standards such as Health and Safety, security measures being in place and training of guards.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Employees portray a Corporate Brand Image through inspections of guarding uniforms, company vehicles and motor bikes and equipment.
  • Ensure all Assignment Instructions and Incident reports are attached into Evolution.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare Incident reports within 48 hours. Ensure client’s requirements, requests, complaints and suggestions are updated on to the Evolution system.
  • Ensure all issues and complaints brought in are addressed within 24 hours and recorded in the Supervisory Occurrence Book and updated on Evolution with corrective actions implemented.
  • Ensure Annually review of all assignment instructions in every Zone
  • Conduct Security Vulnerability Assessment by Inspecting premises to ensure adequate security is available and that all physical facilities comply with Health and safety and environmental codes and ordinances.
  • Ensure implementation of prepared Monthly Zonal Spot check Schedules and Timam Parade Schedules.
  • Conduct and attend monthly Timam parades for every area as per documented agenda.
  • Prepare Timam Parade and Spot Check Reports and address issues with the OM, implementing the necessary corrective action.
  • Work with assigned personnel to ensure that all contractually scheduled hours are met with a minimum use of unbilled overtime.
  • Ensure on termination of a Contract all resources and equipment from client premises are returned to the Stores (Transmitters, Mobiles, and Umbrellas etc.)
  • Act as liaison between the organisation and the customer to foster customer attention by attending meetings personally address any non conformity identified from the Baton site report and the Baton report by supervisor on a daily basis.
  • Ensure Scheduled Site Trainings for assignments are conducted in liaison with the Training Manager as per schedule.
  • Prepare all required reports as per the documented processes, recommend and develop strategies to improve quantity and quality of service delivered.
  • Adherence to systems, processes and policies.
  • Responsible for all incidents’s to be logged in Evolution and monitor all progress report. 
Reporting To: The duty Operations Manager, or any other officer that the company may appoint.

KPI:
 Bringing down incidents and improving client satisfaction by enforcing company policies and standards through supervision, guidance and disciplinary actions on all guarding and supervision staff. 

Enforcing company visibility, reputation and branding by ensuring proper deployment of guards, impeccable state of company equipment, uniforms and vehicles.

Key participatory Areas:
  • Assist in taking disciplinary action in liaison with OM, HOD, HRM
  • Assist in conducting strategic positioning, testing exercise in every quarter
  • Assist in conducting security audits for existing clients and preparing reports on the same
Duty Variation: May be required to work in any other capacity the company may require of you from time to time.

Minimum Qualification & Skills
  • Diploma/ Degree in Business/Security related studies
  • Minimum 4 years in operations/supervision in security
  • Candidates holding similar position preferred
  • Result oriented, self motivated and energetic
  • Computer literacy and good knowledge of computer packages
  • Good communication and presentation skills at a senior level
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Should be a team player
