Vacancy: Dealer Development & Branding Manager - East Africa

Job Purpose
: Robert Bosch East Africa (RBEA) seeks to fill the position of Dealer Development and Branding Manager who will provide leadership and Dealer support to push sales, drive results and ensure general business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Key liaison officer of the company for the dealers.
  • Develop, implement and continuously enhance dealer standards and ensure dealers comply with agreed standards.
  • Assist with individual dealership program implementation i.e. point-of-sale strategy; channel marketing and events implementation.
  • Provide support for implementing individual dealership retail/wholesale marketing activities.
  • Offer individual dealership training for products, selling processes, program implementation and marketing strategies.
  • Implement new product launch activities including, trainings, campaigns and coordinate logistics support of these activities.
  • Assist with resolving distribution concerns, dealership support and policy issues
  • Schedule, contact and document assigned dealership meetings on regular basis, assist with daily operations and provide standardized and ad-hoc reporting as needed
  • Actively support of the regional communication strategy development for professional power tools
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other relevant field.
  • 5 years experience sales and marketing, dealer development and/or brand management in trade of power tools consumer durable or industrial products
  • Ability to assess dealers/ staff, etc performance and continuously develop improvement plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results oriented, self motivated, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment, possess a high degree of accuracy and possess the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Vacancy: Country Manager – Power Tools

Job Purpose
: Robert Bosch East Africa (RBEA) seeks to fill the position of Country Manager. In this role you will develop and implement in country sales strategies 

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsibility to support all Bosch Power Tools sales activities to the Bosch agencies in East Africa
  • Key contact person for all questions/issues with the Bosch agencies
  • Turnover and gross margin responsibility for all Bosch Power Tool Accessory business in East Africa
  • Responsibility for sales planning and price list
  • Daily Customer service to increase turnover
  • Collaboration with Logistic Department to ensure availability and time delivery
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other relevant field.
  • At least 5 years experience sales and marketing in trade of power tools consumer durable or industrial products
  • Good knowledge of Kenya as well as the East Africa market.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results oriented, self motivated, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

As Power Tools (PT) Business Developer in RBEA you act as an entrepreneur with responsibility for introducing and developing PT sales within East Africa to ensure Bosch outperforms the competition in all relevant segments of power tools, accessories and after sales service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve market position across all PT segments
  • Gain understanding of user groups including relevant demands & requirements
  • Analyze distribution channels, and customer & competitor trends
  • Design/implement locally optimized supply chain solutions through the development of internal structures or contracting of 3rd parties
  • Cooperate in developing & deploying local sales strategy, processes and structures in cooperation with local importers
  • Coordinate with regional brand management to ensure regional Business Unit strategy implementation
  • Achieve or exceed sales & budgetary targets; realize marketing & service goals
  • Support users with consultative / problem solving sales approaches
  • Develop customer partnerships through relationship building & management

Qualifications and experience
  • University / college degree, preferably with an Economics, Sales or Marketing focus

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in the East Africa Market.
  • Eager, self-motivating, with high levels of energy and initiative

Vacancy: Regional Manager - Power Tools

Job Purpose: Robert Bosch East Africa (RBEA) is seeking to recruit a Regional Manager for the Power tools Division. 

In this role you will be responsible for business development strategy in the region as well as the P&L responsibility for Power tools sales.


 
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsibility to support all Bosch Power Tools Accessory Sales activities to the Bosch agencies in Africa (w/o South Africa)
  • Key contact person for all questions/issues with the Bosch agencies
  • Turnover and gross margin responsibility for all Bosch Power Tool Accessory business in Africa
  • Responsibility for sales planning, strategic analysis and identification of growth potentials in  Africa
  • Identification of market needs regarding product, price and promotions as well as market developments including competitive activities
  • Initiative, agreement and follow-up of Bosch agencies’ Accessory Marketing Plan (MAPL)
  • Develop the Bosch Power Tools Accessory business in new and low performing countries
Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree in engineering and/or business administration
  • Masters degree is an added advantage
  • Minimum 7 years job experience in marketing and/or sales, preferable in the power tools or power tools accessory business
  • Strong target orientation, motivation and initiative
  • High degree of maturity and authority needed to be on par with the Country Sales Directors of the agencies
  • Proven communication skills
  • Strong level of analytical and strategic skills as well as number comprehension
  • Willingness to change and to take a (calculated) level of risk
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure
  • Intercultural experience and competence
  • Willingness to travel frequently
